Visitor Visa

Discover the Magic of New Zealand – A Visitor’s Paradise

New Zealand is consistently ranked as one of the world’s most sought-after travel destinations. Nestled in the heart of the South Pacific, it captivates visitors with its breathtaking landscapes, adrenaline-pumping adventure experiences, world-class wineries, and warm, welcoming locals. Tourism plays a significant role in the country’s economy, drawing millions of visitors each year.

If you’re planning to explore New Zealand, you’ll likely need a Visitor Visa. To get approved, you must show that you have sufficient funds to support yourself (and any dependents included in your application) and that you are a genuine visitor with intentions to leave at the end of your stay.

Types of Visitor Visas

Your eligibility for a New Zealand visitor visa depends on the purpose of your visit. While the General Visitor Visa is the most common, there are several special visa categories, including:

Stay Duration & Conditions

In most cases, visitor visa holders can stay in New Zealand for up to 9 months within an 18-month period. However, special category visas may allow a stay of up to 12 months. After spending 12 months in the country under such a visa, applicants are generally required to remain outside New Zealand for another 12 months before applying again—unless an exemption is granted.
